Resumen: The purpose of this work is the analysis and comparison of chapters related to the use of water present in two laws of the Roman Hispania, and the competence of munici- pal bodies in this area. For contextualization, I considered useful, previously make some general notes summarizing the meaning of municipal law and the political and adminis- trative constitution of the societies to which they were addressed.
