Resumen: La asignatura consiste en un conjunto de conferencias de temática científica variada, preferentemente en el ámbito de la química molecular y la catálisis, de periodicidad aproximadamente mensual, impartidas por científicos y tecnólogos de excelencia en el contexto internacional. Las conferencias incluirán una introducción de carácter divulgativo y resultados de investigaciones en curso. La asignatura pone en contacto al estudiante con la frontera de la investigación científica y la práctica industrial en química, en cualquiera de sus frentes.

Abstract: The course consists of a series of conferences of varied scientific topics, preferably in the field of molecular chemistry and catalysis, approximately monthly, taught by scientists and technologists of excellence. The conferences will feature outreach introductions and results of ongoing investigations. The course puts students into contact with the frontier of scientific research and industrial practice in chemistry, in all its fronts.
