Resumen: Se trata de una asignatura de seis créditos, de carácter optativo dentro del Grado de Matemáticas. Su objetivo es presentar al alumno los conceptos y propiedades más importantes de serie de Fourier, para funciones periódicas, y transformada de Fourier, para funciones no periódicas, en una variable, así como algunas aplicaciones de la teoría en el tratamiento de señales.

Abstract: This is a six-credit, optional course in the degree of Mathematics. Its aim is to present the most important concepts and properties of Fourier series, for periodic functions, and Fourier transforms, for non-periodic functions in one variable, together with some elementary applications of the theory to signal processing.
